What is Project Era?
Project Era (erafn) is a free, community-run Fortnite private server that brings back the Chapter 1 seasons. Jump into the map, loot pool and mechanics from the seasons you remember, with a fresh season rolling out on a regular schedule.
How is it different from normal Fortnite?
No sprinting, no mantling, no shield-bubbles. It's the classic ruleset: OG building, the original weapon pool, and the map exactly as it was during that season. It also runs completely separately from Epic's servers, so your live Fortnite account is untouched.
How do I earn V-Bucks?
V-Bucks are earned by playing, not bought. Complete daily and weekly quests, level up your account and place well in tournaments to stack up V-Bucks to spend in the Item Shop. You never need them for the Battle Pass.
How do I get the Battle Pass?
It's free. Play one match and the full season Battle Pass unlocks on your account, no V-Bucks needed. Join late and you still get every reward up to your current level, retroactively. From there, gain XP from matches, quests and challenges to tier up and unlock every skin, emote, glider and pickaxe in that season's pass.
Do I keep my locker between seasons?
Yes. Anything you unlock through the Battle Pass, Item Shop or rewards stays in your locker for good, so you can keep using it as new seasons launch.
Are there tournaments?
Regular tournaments run throughout each season with live leaderboards on this site. Rack up points from placements and eliminations across the event windows to climb the standings and earn rewards.
